How to Play Baccarat
The highest hand in Baccarat is 9. The lowest is zero. The hand closest to 9 is the winner. Face cards, tens and any combination totalling ten have a value of zero. In Baccarat, there are two primary ways to bet: On the player's hand or on the bank's hand. There is also an option to bet the tie. A player may, at any time, bet on the bank's hand, the player's hand, and/or on the tie. Each hand is dealt with two cards from the shoe. The player's hand is acted upon first, followed by the bank's hand. If the player's initial two cards total 0 to 5, the player draws a third card. If the banker's initial cards total 0 to 2, the banker will also draw a third card.
Baccarat is a comparing card game played between two hands, the "player" and the "banker". Each baccarat coup has three possible outcomes: "player" (player has the higher score), "banker", and "tie".
NATURAL: If the first two cards dealt to either player or bank totals 8 or 9, neither side may draw additional cards.
