SIC BO

also known as tai sai , dai siu , big and small or hi-lo, is an unequal game of chance played with three dice, and of ancient Chinese origin. Grand hazard and chuck-a-luck are variants, and of English origin. The literal meaning of sic bo is "precious dice", while dai siu and dai sai mean "big [or] small".

How to Play   Sic Bo

A player may place multiple bets at the same time. The different bet areas can be identified by the player by looking at the table and he can choose any number combinations he desires.

SIC BO FEATURES THE FOLLOWING BETTING OPTIONS:

Small/Big Bet: Small Bet wins if the total sum of the three dice is 4 to 10. Big Bet wins on a total of 11 to 17. Neither Small nor Big Bet wins if the three dice are of the same number (three of a kind).

The Small and Big Bet payoff ratio is 1:1.

Number Bet: Placing a number bet means you want a specific number to appear on as many dice as possible. Select a number from 1 to 6 and place your chip(s) on the corresponding area. If the chosen number appears one time your bet pays 1:1, if it appears two times your bet pays 2:1 and if it appears three times your bet pays 3:1.

Pair Bet: This bet consists of placing a wager on any 2 dice combinations. If you wager on a 6,4 combination and the result of the dice roll was 4,7,6, you would win at 5:1 odds. If the result of the dice roll was 6,4,4 you would win twice because there are two combinations of 6,4.

Total Bet: Placing a total bet means you want the total sum of the three dice to be a certain amount. Possible totals are from 4 to 17. 3 and 18 (which are also possible with three dice) are excluded.

Double Bet: when the resulting dice roll contains a pair of the same number. Whether you have two fives or three fives you still only win once and you win at odds of 8:1.

Triple Bet: Triplets are when the resulting dice roll consists of all three dice containing the same digit. So if you wagered on three 6's and that was the dice result you would win at 150:1 odds. You can also wager on all six triplet bets at once, this is called "Any Triplet" and pays out at 24:1 odds.
